USS FRANKLIN D ROOSEVELT CV-42 1976-77 MED CRUISE VIDEO

This 70 Minute Video is made from movies taken by crew members aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt CV-42 during the 1976-77 Mediterranean Cruise.
The original films have been professionally converted to digital format with color and exposure corrections made as needed. T
his DVD is made to be played on US players that are compatible with the DVD- format.
I was a US Navy Photographer’s Mate aboard the FDR from 1958-60 and I’m making these Videos so shipmates will have something visual to show their families and pass along to future generations. My plan is to make a Video for each cruise and this is the ninth one completed. A portion of the purchase price of this Video is donated to the USS FDR Reunion Association.
On 4 October 1976 the ship set off for her 20th (and Final) Mediterranean Cruise.
This video shows scenes from several visits to Naples and Catania, Italy as well as Taranto, Genoa, Monaco, Cannes, Barcelona and Palma, Majorca. Flight operations also include vertical takeoffs and landings by AV8-A Harrier jets.
