    “20th TASS FAC”
Color home movie footage filmed by an OV-10 pilot with the 20th Tactical Air Support Squadron in Quang Tri, DaNang, and Tay Ninh during

    1970.
You’ll see guys playing volleyball and goofing off in camp, then go along on a “People Sniffer” mission — ride in a Huey equipped with an

XM-3 Airborne Detector that could “sniff” out the enemy in the jungle below. After this flight the cameraman takes off in his Bronco, flying over jungle, rivers,

small airstrips, base camps, and bomb-cratered terrain in Quang Tri Province — including views of The Rockpile and FSB Ripcord. You’ll see a Bronco pilot

flying over the runway and landing after his final mission — then being met by his buddies who dump him into a pool of water before they head into the “Barky

Operations Building”. There is footage filmed at DaNang AB and at Tay Ninh Base Camp. You’ll see nurses from the 45th Surgical Hospital (MUST) — playing

volleyball with the guys, returning from a day at the beach, and watching a medal ceremony on their compound.
    Other footage includes:
    ~Bronco #14660 (later lost in a mid-air collision)
~Da Nang TAFDS (Tactical Airfield Fuel Dispensing Station)
~Cobra helicopter escort for “People Sniffer” mission (1/5th Aviation Detachment??)
~aircraft landing and taking off at DaNang AB
    …and more.
    Running Time: 1 hour
Includes a soundtrack from AFVN radio.
